main roads and rail. It is 30 mins. drive
from Heathrow or Luton airports, 30 mins.
by train from Euston station in London and
is only 15 mins. drive from the M25 and M1
motorways.
The Alexandra Guest House is 100 yards from
the historic Old Town High Street and 5 mins.
from the new shopping centre.
There are many fine walks, including along
the Grand Union canal, and the countryside
around Hemel Hempstead is particularly beautiful.

Directions:
From south leave M25 AT J20 (A41). Follow
signs for Hemel Hempstead. From the north,
leave M1 at J8. At "Magic roundabout"
in Hemel Hempstead take A4146 to leighton
Buzzard. Turn right at second roundabout (signposted
B487 Old Town). Take second right into Alexandra
Road. We are approx.100 yds on the right.
Alternatively, you can follow signs to the
hospital which is at the end of Alexandra
